Delete your Earstep account

You can use Earstep without an account. If you created one, you can delete it and the data linked to it at any time.

In the app

1. Open Earstep and go to the You tab.
2. Under Account, choose Delete account.
3. Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away and you’re signed out.

By email

If you no longer have the app, email support@earstep.com from the address linked to your account and ask us to delete it. We’ll confirm within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your sign-in record: email address, optional name and the account ID. If you used Sign in with Apple, we also revoke Earstep’s access to your Apple ID.
• Your synced progress: answers, levels, practice days and settings.
• Purchase records linked to your account, except a transaction record we must keep for tax or accounting law, which keeps no email address or progress.

Progress saved on your phone stays there until you delete the app. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings. Residual copies in encrypted backups are overwritten within 30 days.
